This Whitegate bathroom needed brightness, contrast, and a wipe-clean finish. We repaired and prepared the timber panelling, tested a few navy samples, and then painted the upper walls in a warm neutral and the panelling in a rich blue. Moisture- and mould-resistant products were used throughout for a long-lasting result.
The light wall colour bounces daylight around the room, making it feel bigger. The navy panelling grounds the space and highlights the white sanitary ware and trim. Together they complement the existing tiled floor for a cohesive look.
Surfaces were washed, filled, sanded, and caulked. Stains were sealed and the timber was primed before painting. This careful prep gives a smooth finish and helps the paint stand up to daily use.
We applied two even coats to walls and panelling with crisp cutting-in around edges and fixtures. The final surface is washable, scuff-resistant, and easy to maintain, leaving the room fresh, tidy, and ready to use.
