This project in Glanmire involved repainting a landing and staircase that had lost its brightness over time. We refreshed the walls, woodwork, and panelling with a refined, modern palette. The result is a beautifully balanced space that feels both clean and inviting.
We chose complementary neutral tones that highlight the architectural details of the panelling and staircase. The soft contrast between the wall and trim creates a calm, timeless look that suits the natural light in this home.
All surfaces were cleaned, filled, and sanded before painting. This thorough prep ensured smooth, sharp lines and a perfect bond for the new paint layers — key for a lasting, professional finish.
As landings and staircases experience regular traffic, we used a washable, scuff-resistant paint. This ensures the finish will stay fresh and easy to maintain, even in a high-use area.
