Hallways and landings are high-traffic areas that often show signs of wear and dated colour schemes. For this Carrigaline project, we were asked to refresh both spaces with a contemporary finish that would make the interiors feel brighter, cleaner, and more inviting.
The walls and ceilings were thoroughly prepped before painting. Old paintwork was cleaned down, cracks and imperfections were repaired, and protective sheeting was used throughout the home to safeguard floors, stairs, and furniture.
The existing beige walls were painted over with a modern soft grey, creating a brighter and more neutral tone that works seamlessly with both the wooden flooring downstairs and the patterned carpet upstairs. Ceilings and woodwork were given a crisp white finish for contrast and durability.
The result is a clean, refreshed hallway and landing that feels much lighter and more spacious. The updated colour scheme ties the two levels of the home together beautifully while providing a durable, stylish finish that will stand up to everyday use.
