For this interior project in Cork City, we were asked to refresh both the living room and hallway. The client wanted a bold, sophisticated colour for the main living space and a lighter, cleaner look for the hallway to create a welcoming entrance.
We started by preparing the living room walls, filling imperfections and ensuring the surface was smooth. The old neutral finish was removed to make way for something much bolder and more dramatic.
The living room was brought to life with a deep green paint finish. This strong colour worked beautifully with the natural light, giving the space a warm, elegant, and cosy atmosphere. Against the fireplace and classic furnishings, the dark tone created a stunning focal point.
The hallway walls were painted in a light neutral shade, replacing the dated beige tones. The lighter colour opened up the space, reflecting light and creating a bright, welcoming feel as soon as you step inside the home.
The combination of bold green in the living room and soft tones in the hallway completely transformed the interior. The client was delighted with the balance of elegance and warmth in the living room, paired with the fresh, inviting hallway.
