This interior painting project in Midleton focused on updating a tired, all-white room. The client wanted more character and warmth without making the space feel smaller, so we introduced a bold colour choice on the lower walls combined with a lighter shade above to strike the perfect balance.
We began by filling imperfections, sanding the surfaces, and priming the woodwork and paneling to ensure a smooth, durable finish. Careful preparation meant the new paint would adhere properly and last longer.
The paneling, door, and trims were painted in a rich deep green. This bold choice grounded the room, added texture, and provided a strong design statement without overwhelming the space.
To balance the darker tones, we painted the upper walls and ceiling in a light, neutral shade. This brightened the space, reflected natural light, and created a clean contrast against the green paneling.
The completed room now feels modern, stylish, and inviting. The combination of deep green paneling with lighter walls above gave the space both character and brightness, leaving the client delighted with the transformation.
